Keeping Lord’s World Class
The MCC can celebrate a glorious history, not only as the spiritual home of cricket but as an icon of Englishness throughout the world. It’s success has been based inlarge part on its ability to embrace change whilst celebrating tradition.
ABOUT
This website outlines a proposal for the development of the Wellington Road frontage of the Nursery Ground at Lord's that we believe could be of benefit to the Wellington Hospital, to Lord's and the MCC.
This proposal not only provides a chance to improve the facilities provided by the temporary Nursery Pavilion and create other facilities on the same piece of ground but could generate £100,000.000 to allow Lord's to fulfil their commitments to the future of cricket and, at the same time, benefit the surrounding commuinty. Although the proposal will undoubtedly change the Nursery Ground so too did the advent of Indoor Cricket School and the Media Stand but brought significant benefits to Lord's.
